  Had a really great experience with this mechanic. He did a great job and only charged us for 30 minutes for what was more like a 50 minute job (perhaps because he knew we were backpackers and have very little money). Great service, much appreciated. Thank you David.

  We were at cq automotive because we had a problem with our gearbox. It was the best experience with a mechanic in Australia so far and unfortunately we've had a lot of those. Their work was really professional. They have known that we are backpackers and haven't got a lot of money so they tried to hold the costs as low as possible. They also gave us a free lift into a shopping centre in town, so that we don't have to wait all the time in the workshop. So when you have a problem with your car and are near rockhampton, go to cq automotive!

  Had a major service on our Isuzu Dmax & are very happy to report all good. Uses quality oils etc. David is a thorough, competent mechanic. Engine running very well. Much better value than the dealer/stealers in that we know what we paid for was done! Thanks for drop off/pickup too.

  After spending 3 hours researching on the net.,I finally picked my mechanic and I based my pick on the best reviews. Needless to say I was NOT disappointed. David was able to find and fix a long standing problem I had with my 1995 Pajero. ( I wasted a lot of time and money with other mechanics that could not find the problem.) I agree with all the reviews 100%. I was surprised that he was able to fix it in such a short time and was more than happy with the bill. I have left my Pajero with him to finish some other long standing issues for me and he will certainly have all my future business.
